Sony's first-party catalog games, including Returnal, Demon's Souls, and older God of War titles, do eventually reach Extra. Ubisoft+ Classics is bundled in at this tier at no extra cost, worth $7.99/month standalone per Sony's own PS Plus benefits page. New catalog titles are added roughly monthly. June and July 2026 both added 6-7 games including Final Fantasy XVI and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Costs $3/month less than Premium ($16.99 vs $19.99) while retaining nearly all the same current-gen game catalog. Cons: No Sony first-party games at launch. Astro Bot, Spider-Man 2, and other PlayStation exclusives require a full $60–70 purchase on top of the subscription. No cloud streaming at this tier. Playing on PC or mobile requires upgrading to Premium for an extra $3 per month. Price rose to $16.99/month in the May 2026 increase, up from $14.99, a roughly 13% jump for existing tiers.
